Hiking in Sardinia: This hiking tour (also very suitable for cyclists) leads through the wide plain, dunes and vineyards that lie at the foot of the Badesi municipality. We chose the Coghinas River as the starting point. The path leads past seemingly endless dunes, meadows and fields. This area is very popular with families and all those who prefer routes that are as flat as possible. After about 90 minutes you reach the beach section of Badesi. It is one of the largest sandy beaches in Sardinia, which begins with us in the village of La Ciaccia and stretches for almost 15 km, past Badesi towards Isola Rossa.
The grapes for delicious red and white wines grow in this area. Thanks to the sandy terrain, these wines are very dry and fruity. The best known wines are the Cannonau and the Vermentino. One of the most renowned producers is the Li Duni - Cantina Badesi winery.
