Starting from our holiday homes to the west, you can reach the port of Stintino in just over 60 minutes. From there starts the ferry to Asinara Island.The former prison island of Asinara has a very exciting and moving story to tell. In addition, thanks to the hermetic seal, a flora and fauna unique to the Mediterranean has developed over decades.
If you decide to visit the island, you have the choice between a bike or bus tour or a discovery tour with a jeep. The last variant (with an English-speaking guide) is a little more expensive but offers the opportunity to experience the whole island during a day trip. The jeep moves over hill and dale.
