Looking onto the Asinara Island from the North West, Stintino is lapped by shallow crystal clear waters.
The old fishermen’s tradition is still practised today by using old methods.
Pelosa beach with its fine white sandy beach is so beautiful that it could well be in the in the Caribbean or the Pacific Ocean.
The water in front of the beach is really beautiful, it almost looks like a colour palette saturated with various shades of blue. The only problem is that in summer time this small beach is very crowed. Most of the people spending their holidays at Stintino need to take the car to search another beach. But a day trip is recommended.
Situated at the tip of the island Stintino is the perfect base for visiting the Island of Asinara which is a marine protected area within the Asinara National Park.
You will be able to discover an island within an island by taking nature walks or mountain bike rides through uncontaminated land.
We organise all year trips on the Asinara island (by Jeep, bike or bus).
